A HUGE thank you...
I'd like to thank everyone who helped me yesterday at the SW N launchsite. I also apologize if I was rude to anyone when coming in to the beach but I was already a bit disoriented and had blurred/partial vision so I just wanted to get the kite out of the sky before anything happened so noone got hurt. Thanks again to everyone that was there and helped, we really have a great community of riders here!!!

This is what I know....
Around 6:30pm while Toby was riding he started getting the first symptoms of having a seizure. As far I know he knows ahead when he is going to get one of those. So he went back to the beach knowing he was just going to loose his orientation. He was very fortunate to get back to the beach and to have a group of kiters ready to assist him with landing his kite. I rode back to the beach when a few minutes later and I saw him laying on the ground already disoriented. Paramedics showed up later on and Toby was taken to the hospital. Toby can correct me if different. Get well soon man!

Glad you are all right Toby. I am glad that you made it to the beach when you did. Hope to see you out on the beach.

Glad it worked out
Glad to hear you are OK. You are correct when you say we have a great bunch of people. What we saw yesterday is typical of the crowd we associate with.
See you out there soon. |
