Moving to Florida
Reposted from the FKSA yahoogroups site:
"Hi, My name is Gonzalo, I lived in miami a few month last year and because all the crandom park kiters I start kitesurfing here in argentina. Now I`m moving back to miami and I would like if someone can help me with the size of kite I`m going to need there. I`m 95 KG (200 Lb) incase someone ask. I know I have to loose some!!!!. Please I will appreciate the information. Some here recomended me a 16 or 18 mts, is that right? " Hello Gonzalo, Most kiteboarders need at least two kites sometimes more to cover variable winds that blow through from now until the useable wind largely shuts off usually sometime in May. Some of the bow kites around 16 m may give you a particularly wide range at your weight. Otherwise, in C kites you might want something around 12 and 16 to 18 m. Somedays you may want a 9 m C in the odd strong cold front. More ideas along these lines appear at: http://fksa.org/viewforum.php?f=67
