The second annual Kite Bash is coming to Melbourne March 9, 10 and 11, 2007 courtesy of A.J. and
http://www.kitetricity.com/ . The event will crank up on Friday, March 9, with a half day Free Style Event with the MAIN EVENT hitting the water Saturday! There will be a Course Race (25. fee) in the morning followed by a Free Style event (15. fee) in the afternoon. Saturday night will go off with a Giant Kiteboarding Party at R.J.'s Pub, highlighting the stoke of kiteboarding, A.J.'s 45th Birthday and Kitetricity's fourth year!
The event Saturday will have a Money Purse for 1st, 2nd, 3th place in the Course Racing. (unknown amount at this time, hoping for 500.00 divided up three ways)
There will be lots of goodies up for grabs in the raffle (10. tickets) on Friday and Saturday including: 12m GK Lift(06), 9m GK Lift(06), both "C" kites, a Travel bag from Litewave Design, a Slingshot Bar and Line Setup, and this is just a start, there is a lot more...
There will also be place's for people to come and camp next to the event site, or stay at Hotels... more info to come on this.
