Default Help Choosing a Kite

I've been browsing these forums and other websites quite a bit but I am still trying to make a decision on what I should get as my first kite. I've taken lessons and can ride and do basic turns, as well as somewhat stay upwind (at least maintain my position).

Currently I'm very interested in the Cabrinha switchblade as I'm comfortable with the safety systems implemented on this brand of kites. Also, I know I want to gravitate towards a more 'wake-style' of riding (i come from a strong wakeboard background) and this seems like a good kite that can help push me in that direction.

As you all know, $2,000+ is a big investment and I want to make sure that I'm getting something that not only can I learn on, but will grow with me over a couple of seasons before I can afford to add another kite or two to my quiver.

Any other suggestions are welcome but I'm most comfortable with the 4-line systems with depower similar to the Cabrinha line.

Thanks!
