Sad but true Jake. There is increase in new riders at SB and HP but the concern lies in the veteran population as well. History shows over and over that it is reckless riding behavior by experienced riders that get spots shut down. This is highlighted in the latest Kiteboarded mag discussing access issues and solutions. Check out this link http://www.thekiteboarder.com/2010/1...ur-beach-open/

I think the first step is recognizing there is a problem.
The second step is coming together to create solutions.
Final step is putting plan into motion, sticking to it, and having consequences for those that continue to jeopardize access.

The Belmont crew got it right and will enjoy access for a ling time.

I'm not sure what the Sunset crew has planned, but I hope that they have at least gotten to the first step.

The clock is ticking. It wont stay cold forever and the public will be back soon enough. Keeping that public from complaining will be the key to continued access.

Well Jake, at least there is one other person that sees what I see.
