Help a family in need...
We are organizing a rummage sale to help the Hampton family, a south Tampa family of 6, who have been hit hard by a debilitating accident, and left without income. The father supported his family with his landscaping service, which is now being maintained by friends and relatives.He is also a military veteran. You can help by donating clothing, housewares,etc., which will be sold at the V.F.W. post in Hyde Park on Sat. Aug. 4. There will be also be a blood drive, food, and music.
So, clean out those garages and closets (while you wait for wind) and let's help this family in need. All leftover items will be donated to The Spring, a shelter for battered women.
Donation Locations-
Hillsborough County- We have set up a PODS located at 2101 W. Platt St. in Hyde Park to store everything until the sale. (8:30-5:30 PM Mon-Fri.) Contact Liz at (813)637-2357
Pinellas- Drop items at Sunshine Beach House (10080 Gulf Blvd.) Please contact Steve(813)389-3683 prior to delivering larger items, as storage space is very limited.
