Definitely unexpected. Personally, I didn't feel it. I guess it depended on where you were. To the best of my knowledge, no wind or waves as a result. :cry:
No complaints though. We're lucky we don't have a fault line with the potential of making similiar effects to the devastating tsunami that occurred a couple years ago.
