Grabbing the tail with your back hand is the easiest to get your foot back in-because you don't have to bend down as much. Work on throwing your foot down towards the water first, they try throwing it forward in the direction of travel for more style points. Learn to ride with footstraps looser than normal and its also easier to land.
Mixing it with a backroll is fun too, but I have to switch my back hand to front side on the bar (on the way up) to redirect the kite- port tack is left(front) foot out. Kinda goofy looking, but sure is fun!
Boardoffs are much harder with a wetsuit on for sure,probably harder with a seat harness, too. I wear a seat harness and cant bend in the middle to grab the handle.... maybe I'm just getting fat and old
As soon as I can touch my toes again, I will be trying that spinning boardoff. My previous attempts have resulted in a yardsale every time...
