The reason the mission requires more power to ride than a float per say, is that the mission is a wake style board. That means more rocker also the channels slow it down because of more drag. If you compare it to a regular kite board like an agression or ug wave tray it will look like a bow. A wake style board needs to be ridden powered and plenty of back foot pressure. Ive had the mission since they came out. Ive been ridding one since before the came out. So I have lots of time on one in both flat water and surf and it kicks ass in both.
