I am sorry to hear that. You should notify the nearest shops where someone might try to sell something like that pronto. Give a fairly accurate description to the guys. I copied your post into the Lost and Found forum on this site. I hope it turns up.
Something that some guys do is to write their phone number on the board and include "REWARD FOR RETURN OF BOARD" on it.
