i would not reccomend it. Wakeboards have alot more rocker on them than kiteboards, which means less surface area in contact with the water. So you 143 will be more equivalant to a 120 or smaller kiteboard. It is do-able but i have riden a wakeboard while kiting and its not much fun, especially in choppy conditions becaues of its lack of large fins.

I also have a large 158 kiteboard that is great to learn on and would be willing to get rid of it for 70 bucks. it is a starter board though and once u start going up wind and jumping u will want to move on.
