Thanks JP, I had never heard of the place. Sounds like Arenal in some respects being an inland lake with honking strong wind! What a remarkable place,
"in summer it blows 15 to 25 mph, in winter the wind is 30 to 50" It sounds like the ferry traffic gives it up for the strong wind in winter. What do the
locals do other than stay put? Thanks for letting us know about this place, a new high wind destination and in freshwater.
