Aside from the satisfaction of giving new life to what may be old archived images, donors could be immortalized with a short searchable bio associated with donated images in perpetuity? Could be around for a very long time as it seems these reefs are falling out of existence. There can be a significant scientific spinoff from the project, although the current goal is simply to convey a sense of what was present for a very long time to the public at large via images. Critically to preserve those images which otherwise might easily be lost in the next few decades.
