If anyone is going toward Michigan or Chicago I am offering to pay gas and provide accomodation 3 blocks from the best kite beach on the Great Lakes - Muskegon, MI. Get out of the heat and light wind - you will be surprised when you kite up there...really nice!
Great uncrowded beaches, downwinders, waves and flat water, and a super laid back scene.
