A couple was paddling in the NW, saw a pod of orcas in the distance and apparently tried to converge on the pod. The pod was hunting seals. Good thing they didn't confuse the SUP person for a seal on a float. Seal rookeries are usually near shore or rock outcrops. It would be a good idea to not get too close with signs of feeding time.
