Looking about five miles north up the coast. A ton of people on the beach and kiters over a few areas up towards Hillsboro Inlet. Everything compresses together over miles in this sort of photo.
The wind in Pompano on Sunday, it was a bit less on Saturday
They had this Boca Bash thing in Lake Boca, most boats I've ever seen there. This shot was late too, close to 5 pm. This was an excellent opportunity to raft up with dozens, hundreds of other boats, breathe exhaust fumes, risk sympathetic detonation with gas fumes going off in adjoining boats. Why would anyone forget to use their blowers in something like this? People seemed to have fun though. Didn't hear of any explosions, good thing!
