Default WIND In SE Florida?

It has become a rare day between schedules and our amazingly light wind season that there is enough wind for a fun session for me these days. Today, well it was supposed to be 12 to 15 kts., I'll take it! It was about that or less when I went out and rigged up. Fortunately, it didn't stay there eventually boosting to 20 to 25 kts. for a while. Having some fun now! Here are some image captures from a GoPro video I was shooting at the time.

Note: for folks that have fogging and water spotting issues, I have been having fairly good success with using the GoPro desiccant pads or cutting some paper towels with scissor for the sides and back of the camera. I put on three coats of Rain-X on the outer dome port surface which helps the water spotting for a while. I did the same thing on snow, it seemed to help with fogging and wet snow there too.

I wanted to do some ride bys and shoot a dredging support barge. Unfortunately it was running offshore for a while to avoid some divers spread all over the third reef. I waited until it cleared them and turned a bit more north for some passes.

Attack of the spray people!

Some of the crew kept signaling for me to jump the barge. Yeah that will happen. There wasn't enough wind at this point regardless.

What a great unexpected session!
