As we all know freediving events in the U.S. are few and far between, so when U.S.A.A. (U.S. Freediving Association -
www.usfreediving.org) Freediver Jared Schmelzer decided it was time to organize one in Ft Lauderdale, F.I.I. was quick to respond with an offer of sponsorship assistance. The Gulfstream Open Freediving event will be running from 25th July - 26th July this month.
Developing and supporting the local and national freediving community is one of F.I.I.'s top priorities, so we look forward to supporting more events
such as this in the future.
