No problem on the loaner kites.
Al obviously got the better loan. That 2002 6m C kite looked pretty funny (and small) out there.
It was blowing up to 40 when we launched though, so I thought it would work. I told you you wouldn't get blown off of it in 40.
It needs 30 to really work though, kinda funny really.

It looks like it might blow until 11 or so, Jason, from the NE. It just picked up at the SW (it often picks up as it warms up for a few hours).
I checked this sensor
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/data/obhistory/KSPG.html and it's blowing 14 there.
It's usually about 3 to 4 knots more at the SW and the SW sensor says 20, so 15/17 now at SW right now seems reasonable to me.
It will probably spike out at the SW at about 8:30 am (it's currently 7:40) for about 1.5 hours, then taper a tad, then die by 11.
That's the typical pattern on a day "like this" and my guess, for what it's worth.
It's pretty cold though.
