Comp was a blast, as the fog lifted early we were greeted with a nice 20 knts out of the south. USF swept the competition with Chase Kosterlitz winning the boarder-x and Mitchell Hall (a renowned college sailor) took second.
The fog did come in pretty heavy mid race and riders were dissapearing mid heat, we postponed untill it lifted and everyone was stoked the wind stayed.
16 riders showed up on a 72 hrs notice from five different schools, we also had a freestyle expression session (triple-s Stlye(no heats)) The awards given were:
Best overall session: Chase Kosterlitz (USF)
Large Flying Mammal: Mark Barber (UNF)
Bawlz: Alex Moore (Eckerd)
Wreckage: Chester (USF)
Loopmaster: Tripp Hobbs (Eckerd)
Kitemanship: Oli Berlic (Eckerd)
