2009 CKA tour stop #1 at Huguenot Park 16-18th.

A cold front looks like it is passing thru on Friday-Sunday. Forecast is holding 18-20mph for the weekend, hopefully it will hold.

We will announce details of whats planned for each day as we approach this front

:::We will be sending out updates frequently:::

Anyone that has any pieces to sliders, BRING THEM! we will try and combine them to make it as long as possible.

***GRAND PRIZE***
Halloween Costume Kiter: last years was won by Brian Walters as a headless chicken.

ps: Huguenot Park is a non-alcoholic park so watch out for the 5-0"

Great time and some wind to make it happen but due to offshore conditions we cancelled the contest and held a jam session, riders still threw down and all sponsors were stoked on the turnout, almost 50 people strong event with a poor forecast. Here's a teaser video of the weekend and the antics that ensued ( http://www.vimeo.com/7194392 ). This year if there is a mediocre forecast we will be postponing events unless otherwise notified, thanks for everyone who has helped out with the CKA for the past few years and we look forward to your continued support in the future.

***p.s.***
The CKA has officially just grown out of Florida and hosted its first event at Pismo Beach in California. The level of skill is high and will only be pushed farther, Will Caldwell, South Florida native, said a front mobe and a KL - handlepass didn't push him through his first heat so that should be a statement as to the level of competition. Stay tuned for a video of the west coast round up and even more info on the CKA.
Thanks again,
CKA
