Hey Tampa /St Pete kiters, we are better than this. Check out Ricks call for help for Mila on the main page. They had to cancel a raffle because of lack of participation. Thats pretty sad. We can do better here. Why don't we have our own raffle of sorts, for used gear. We can raffle off our used stuff and raise some $$. Maybe our local store can throw in some goodies to raffle. I know we can do something. I don't recall Rick using his forum to ask for help. Lets do it.

Thanks H.R. for the vote of support, it helps. Yes, the response has been particularly sad compared to all of the fund raisers over past years. Financial times have changed for a lot of people, we just need to work hard to get through this mess to better times. If folks can help, it would do a lot of good for a distressed woman forced to have a serious operation and rehab at considerable cost. If folks can't help, that is ok and I wish you the best, your consideration of the request is appreciated.

Thanks guys for helping out, it is very much appreciated! Thank you too Steve for your ideas for fund raising, they sound like good ones. There may not be enough time to pull one together for Mila but perhaps in the future for other causes.
