German "Kite Mag." Interview Question About Squalls
 

Just answering some questions from this popular publication in Europe. They do a good, detailed job, in German of course, still good content. Did an interview with them a few years back. They're asking a bunch of questions for an article following a severe storm related kiting accident recently in Europe. Several riders were lofted simultaneously in a squall with a harsh outcome. Here's an interesting one I'm pondering:

3. Do you believe that kiteboarders are not well informed about the risks of storms? Do you believe that kitesurfers are intentionally too careless or through ignorance of the hazards?
