So I am thinking about heading over to tampa tomorrow and maybe thursday. Gonna be doing some boat promotions and kititing. Since wind over here sucks.. So 2 questions.

1 - What is the best flat water spot to rider these westernly winds. ( I have only ridin East beach and Pasagrill

I think the most popular flat water spot on W, NW, SW is backside Skyway.

If popular is what you want, then yes hit the backside.

But if your looking for the best place then hit up Sunset Park in Tarpon Springs. The water is clear, the amount of room is endless, and it doesn't smell. What a bonus!!!! The lower the tide, the better as well.

Both sites have a tight launch, so be mindful.
