NP @ Lassing Park?
Ikite shows winds blowin from 6pm-2am or so. Anyone considering a night patrol at LP tonight? I have class 'till 7:30pm but might bring my gear just in case. We may get 15knots.... Any takers?? :)

i might be game, 13-15knots is sounding pretty good lately, i even got the glow sticks in my car already....

Bring an extra glowstick for me if you can, i'll pay ya for it. Glad to hear someones interested, I'll pack my gear then. Danny I'll take ANY wind at this point. I tried riding a couple days ago in 10knots...desperation. :(

aww $hit...UPS just dropped off my new 11m sonic and the winds have started picking up already. :)

I was there at 9:30, it was blowing 15-20 with beautiful flat water and clear sky.

That's funny, so was I (9:15pm) and I didn't see you. It wasn't even blowing....dead. Flat water and somewhat clear skies with a superlow tide. Thanks for the update though!

H and I rode Lassing last night from 11-2 AM. Blowin 15-19. Did a downwinder to Pinellas Point.
Got to the point and the wind switched slightly too ESE so we cruised back to Lassing. SICK RIDE!!!!!!!!! Where were you all at??? |
Jay, wish I would have known you guys were heading up there. I got there, saw no wind, no kiters anywhere and just said f-it. I figured only danny would be out there. I thought the wind might come later than was anticipated but didn't want to hang out there for and hour+ to see if it would. Wish I did!!

It was really just a spur of the moment thing. We drove by to check it out and it was blowing so we grabbed our gear and took off.
