long weekend

Planning a long weekend jan 07. Kitehouse in Key west or Miami kiteboarding are on the list. My wife and i are beginners and i am looking for a place with flat water where I can do nice long runs working on my skills, and my wife can take some lessons. In terms of the whole package which location would you recommend? Is the wind any more or less of a sure thing on the key west flats? Thanks

Im based on Miami, and there are a couple of beaches/launches I could name that have flat waters and are shallow.
However, it is up to you on whether you like the Keys or Miami.
Keys offer exceptional riding as well.

Both locations(miami kiteboarding and the Kitehouse have proven to be really good schools for beginners.) a lil research on the schools wont hurt a bit.
