There is an interesting video clip about a kiteboarding incident below. It accents the importance of maintaining an adequate downwind buffer and flying with major caution until you achieve it. It also underscores the hazards of onshore winds and the need to TOTALLY DEPOWER IMMEDIATELY when things go wrong and NOT to try to fly out of it. The clip also provides a good endorsement for helmet and impact vest use. Lots of lessons in short.
