line lenths..?

Should their be any difference between power/steering line lenths..?
I understand the angle of attack and all this...but for reasons of backstalling/overflying ...and keep in mind this is for an oldschool ckite...like before swept wingtips and all that...
What would work the best? All equal?

You line lenGths should be all equal. Remove pigtails and attach lines to a fixed object to check them for stretching. Account for stretched front lines by adding piggies on the back lines, or adjust (at the bar)on the leader line knots if so equipped. Make sure that when you check them, you are "unhooked" and fully "powered", the longer lines will sag down a little.....
Hope this helps...

Line lengths are a funny thing. No one seems to pay much attention to lines, but if they are out of tune, your kite will fly like a blimp in a windstorm.

Get to know your lines. Take care of them and they will take care of you.
