07 Bar on an 08 Waroo
Has anybody used the 07 Best bar on an 08 Waroo. I can't imagine it makes any difference, but since in 08 Best shortened the depower on the 08 bar, I just wanted to make sure. I'm upgrading kites, but want to keep using my bar and not spend $250-300 on a new bar. If I gotta get a new bar, I won't be able to afford getting a new kite

Yup no problems at all. The guys up here used the 07 best bar for a long time on there 08 kites. The 08 Best bar really didn't come out until like 7 months after the 08 kites came out.

due to the fact that you do not need as much CL to depower the 08 kites, you can actually use non-waroo bars on an 08 kite if you would like..
i keep my 07 waroo CL stopper pulled about 1/3 of the way down on my 08 kite as the full depower is no needed. |
Thanks for the answers. I posted on Best's forum and got no answers, and I got a guy holding onto an 08 15m for me till I decide if I needed the bar or not. I have the 07 Waroo, and it tends to backstall. Everything I read said the new bridle on the 08 eliminates that for the most part. I figured the 07 bar wasn't an issue, because I remembered the bar taking months to come out. I haven't read too many good things about the 08 bar, and he 09 bar is friggin expensive.
