Get some dirt cheap Oneill SplitToe Booties fer $12.95 online
These currently sell in the local surf shops for $45-57 dollars, i just got the last size 7 for around $18 shipped. Not too thick, not too thin, should protect feet against the little cuts.....but the big oysters/conchs will laugh at these
