How to fix bladder plugs.
The air plugs for my leading edge bladder keep comming off. I reattached them with kite glue but it does not seem to hold well. Does anyone know of a better way to reattach them?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, But this may help:

It's where the whole plug gets attached to the bladder. The original glue stopped holding. So I need to glue the whole plug back onto the bladder.
Thanks for the post but that is not the problem I am having. -Tim |
Ah yes Tim, I remember having this problem with almost ALL my old Naish struts. I tried EVERYTHING under the sun, but nothing ever held more the one session.
Here's a few things that you may try: http://www.kitefix.com/support.asp?lg=en&sct=rep Look for Valve base repair http://airtimekite.com/valve_page_1.html These work VERY well! |
Thanks! I just ordered two of those self stick plugs. I think that should do the trick. Now will they get here before the weekend is the question.
