Cold Fronts

With the 27th tropical strom of the season, and in November at that, we are finally getting a few cold fronts through NW Florida. As the fronts come this way, we usually get a couple of days of warm SE wind and small waves before the NW winds hit. There are few launch spots when it blows N, NW or NE and the launches here are for advanced riders only. However, if you have boat access, you can ride the North side of Shell Island in waist deep water that is like butter. It is seven miles long and covered in pure, white sand with few obstacles.
It looks like Wednesday through the weekend we will have some of that frontal wind hitting here. We have had riders coming out of the woodwork here from several cities to the north, as this is the closest beach to ride with the best launch spots.
Any and all out of town riders give us a call at the shop: 850-235-2444 because when the wind blows, we go ride!
