Puerto Rico February - Where to ride??
 

i received for xmas airfare for gf and i for PR in february, i know paul menta has the kitehouse on the far SW corner but my NON-KITING gf will kill me if we go there

she wants to be closer to san juan and beaches and restaurants and things to do (blah blah blah)

any suggestions where to stay? we will not have a lot of cash but she does want to stay in "something nice"

i could not fiind any suggestions on PR, i sorta remember reading something in KB mag' within the last 3 years on PR and it looked like there was riding near san juan right from the beach (i think)

appreciate your suggestions (except for dumping my nonkiting gf - lol)

PS: i am a long-time rider, solid on surf board or twin tip, flat water or chest high waves

Paul and The Kitehouse have been out of La Parguera on the SW coast for many years. There are likely other outfits on the west and sw coast these days. There is a lot of kiting around San Juan.
