CamRig at East Beach
Just getting into the KS I had to combine it with my interest in
videography. Vid from the other day at East Beast. On a 12m Switchblade. Slightly underpowered. This was the very first video I shot. Gotta play around with the zoom. Using CamRig from www.camrig.com and a Pentax W60. |
I love my camrig. You got the new plastic one? Or the old camera-bag-like one?

I got the new model. Nice design. Very light weight. There is also a vacuum mount from film tools that I'm looking at. A couple of guys have used them to mount the camera on the board.
Now if we could just get some wind!!! |

We have wind ! I have had good sessions on Sat. Mon. Tues. and just got back from a great morning today. New toy has put a whole new light on summer winds. Flysurfer 12m Speed II and the glide. It is wild how fast this thing will go up wind in 10.5 kts. Had low teens out of the SW until 1:00 today and was having a blast in the waves.

Second, the vid is killer and the music is very cool. Who is that??? Third, Whitey, I absolutlely dig your attitude about kiting. Some bitch about the lack of wind around here, but the truth is, we got it pretty good and you know how to take advantage of it. Mad props to you!!!!! "Whitey don't take no for an answer" |

I need a camrig to show me how many 9ft bull sharks I'm riding over at North Shore Park/The Pier - look at today's SP Times or Tampa Tribune for pics. How scary would that be to get your camrig footage home and see that 2 or 3 big sharks were trailing right behind you?
