Weight, Height and anything else I may need to concider

Hello,
I am wanting to start KiteBoarding but I need to know a few things 1st.
I am 16, 135 pounds, I have been surfing for about 5 years, I can bench 150(If that helps any).Is there a specific height/weight that I need to be before starting? And what kind of board should I be looking at?

Thanks Chris.

Same Question - different person

I essentially have the same/similar question as the original poster- what is the correct board size for me?

IF I should get the opportunity to get my own equipment for a great price (to bring with me when first taking lessons) I would of course like to.

My specs:
Female, nearing age 30 (so I won't "grow out of" the equipment is my point)
Height, approx 5'1"
Weight (fluctuates) about 130 lbs. (+/- 5 lbs)

For wakeboarding, I've used a 131 cm board which works great (tried a 122 cm that seemed a little too "squirley" and not good at holding an edge).
Once I get lessons and get going on my own, I will be riding on a lake with winds I estimate at an average of 8 - 15 mph for most days I would be riding.

I'd really appreciate suggestions. Thanks!
