if anyones interested, i might be heading to the East coast on sat.....
|
I am also heading over on Sat for a wedding. I will be in St. Augustine on Sunday and will be riding if it there is wind.
|
High pressure sitting/ spinning/ circulating over the FL/ GA East coast border.
The closer you get to it the less wind, the further south , the more wind. st aggie = no wind; ft pierce and south = lotsa wind + waves this weekend. that thing ain't budging danny, what time U R going over/ coming back & where to? |
im gonna see if i can talk the wife into heading out there, i might leave around 8-9am since the wind isnt forecasted to pick up till around 12-2, then leave around 5-6 and stop by orlando for dinner with the wife....
|
so U R thinking Cocoa bch?
I waz thinking ft Pierce Btw, i think U R monday forecast iz wayyyy off ( or wishful ) |
i like cocoa beach because its a straight shot down the 528 beeline... closest eastcoast beach to drive to....
|
That's a matter of perspective;
SR 674 goes straight across and hooks up to Hwy 60 at the halfway point for me |
Its after the fact, but made a trip the EC two weeks ago.....got from Cocoa to Indian Rocks in 2.5 hours. Fastest time I have ever had on that trip. I have tried every way possible. Construction is pretty much complete. Definately take the expressway around Tampa...worth every penny. Avg. 75mph entire way.
For what it's worth. |
