This is also a traditional good time of year for Cabarete. Still there are exceptions. Five years ago I went in July and it went off consistently everyday for the entire time I was there. Two years ago, we had two tropical depressions in only five days and we were largely skunked for rideable wind. I would look at the forecasts for OBX when you are planning to head up and see how things look. |
Thanks for the reply Rick.
What is OBX? Can you send me the link? Thanks, Scott "The Unknowing Wonder" |

Do you have the links to any representative wind meters down that way? The images of the Exumas sure do look great. http://www.naturalbornhikers.com/Lan...as,bahamas.jpg From: http://www.naturalbornhikers.com/ http://dive.scubadiving.com/members/...ShroudCaya.jpg From: http://dive.scubadiving.com/ |
