Hi all... I am new to this forum, and just relocated to St Petersburg. I'm looking for some suggestions on good riding areas. I'm still somewhat new, so a beach with some friendly kiters would be prefered.

Now thru Oct the wind is either feast or famine, your best bet is to catch the afternoon sea breezes or early morning easterlies. Check out www.tampabaykiteboarding.com for info on launch sites around the area. Desoto, Skyway and the Gulf beaches are the most popular spots to ride. Cya Eagle |
