Looks like Wednesdays are going to be the better days to do this demo.

Location and times haven't changed, just the day.

Here is the info from the other thread.

Starting this Wednesday 8/11/09, the boyz at Watersports West will be hosting

"Paddle Daze Wednesdaze" starting around 7:30pm.

Never tried a Stand Up? Want to get some excercise? Want to try out different shape and size boards? Want to have a friendly race?

We have a lots of boards and paddles on hand, but feel free to bring your own.

Location will at Keegan Claire Park on the intracoastal waterway next to the Holiday Inn.

You can meet us at the shop at 7pm and follow down, or just meet us there.

Directions to Keegan Claire Park: (from the shop)
Take Walsingham Rd towards Indian Rocks Beach
Go over the Intracoastal Bridge (Walsingham Bridge)
Once over the bridge, get in left lane and turn south on 2nd Street
Take 2nd Street all the way to the end past Holiday Inn and Keegan Claire Park will be on the corner of 2nd Street and Miami Ave.

The Park is small, but there is plenty of parking along 2nd Street.

We will go until dusk and DON'T FORGET TO BRING SOME BOOTIES!

Call if you get lost or just want to confirm the demo for peace of mind.

i would like to try and make the paddle on wed if its on. :cool:

I am on the other coast....Oregon.

A bit out of the loop, but call the shop about the paddle day. I am pretty sure Steve is game for Wednesday's after we close.

have fun in Oregon! I have sun poisoning so I won't be able to go out tonight anyway, but I'm VERY interested in joining you guys sometime. Let me know when you're back in town. :)

Last Wednesdays paddle was outstanding. We had almost 35 folks show up with a bunch of help and support from the local paddle board crew.

Just added another board to the quiver. Bic Oxbow!

Is it on for tonight?

We have been doing the paddle day consistently every week now. If you want to be sure of the demo, give the shop a call for any last minute updates.

Just added the Bic Oxbow's to the lineup. Some new boards for 2010 coming soon.
