hatteras / obx late June / early July?
Dan and I are planning on driving up to Hatteras for a long weekend in late June / early July...
thinking I'd put feelers out now to see if anyone else wanted to meet up there? Unfortunately we wont have room in our vehicle for another. Probably drive up on a Wednesday or Thursday night.. leave on Monday or Tues... also might cancel at last minute (like last year) due to shitty weather (Tropical Storm Alberto). |

OBX - My family reunion
I will be up there from July 6 - July 15 in case you want to go up then, my family has gone up there every year since before I was born...I like July better just because you are jonesing for wind more once you get to July...Makes the wait until mid-October that much less painful...

where do you stay?
wind conditions at that time? we have no set date .. just hoping to not get skunked.. thinking trip to gorge in oregon might be a better bet. |

We rent out two HUGE cottages. If you need a place to crash for a few nights, I am sure there will be some floor space. Otherwise, I know REAL rents out bunks for dirt cheap, you may want to talk to them. The wind was great last year, it blew for about 70% of my 10-day stay
