ASNEWS This Week: How the New Bow Kites Compare

THIS WEEK:
May 4, 2006 -- This week ASNews.net interviews professional kiteboarders Damian Leroy out of Naples, Florida, and Reo Stevens, born and raised on the North Shore of Hawaii, about the 2006 gear line up.

Damian is a Cabrinha team rider. He talks about the new Contra and gives his perspective on the subtle differences between Cabrinha's Crossbow and Switchblade kites. Damian also talks about the new Zero Gravity kiteboards and what it’s like competing on the PKRA tour.

ASNews.net also interviews one of the original kiteboarding groms, Reo Stevens. Reo started kiteboarding at 13 and has watched kiteboarding unfold over the years. Now 20 years old, Reo is a Naish team and rides and trains with some of the best wave riders in the world. Reo talks extensively about the new Shockwave kite and how it is helping him push his riding to new levels.
