http://www.lennoxrentals.com/aerial1.jpg Last time I was over there the causeway launches were blocked in some cases by major bridge construction. This may or may not have changed at this point. http://www.swfl360.com/hermitage/aerial07.jpg One of the four causeway launch areas in the sound. It looks like the lighthouse area at the south tip of Sanibel may be good for SE winds. http://www.swfl360.com/hermitage/aerial09.jpg http://www.swfl360.com/hermitage/aerial08.jpg A view to the south I would be sure to contact Roy Massey with http://www.aceperformer.com/ about current precautions. It is high tourist season over there and there are bound to be quite a few people around the lighthouse. |
Thanks Rick!
I will try to stay at the causeway if possible and away from the beach goers. |

We went off Stiltsville to try out Ty Luckets "pole boat." It was a good session. Photos and story to follow. |
