It was moderately crowded. I rode downwind of everyone a lot.
I also rode a new spot today for awhile... backside EB. It was honking back there, weird, but true. I saw it whitecapping and figured, WTH... When I went back in there, I couldn't believe how hard it was blowing. Some kind of funnel thing going on in there. |

yeah, I took a lesson back in there last year, it really blows hard back there a lot of the time...

yesterday was quite perfect.
got there at 10.. rode underpowered till noon.. rode moderately to overpowered until 345 then hitched a ride on Ambers 12m waroo for another 30 + minutes of tired as hell riding but too fun to put the kite down. epic to say the least. tho there were a lot of kiters it did not seem crowded at all.. only a couple new riders but they were keeping their distance.. |
oh.. and after i went and saw my favorite band The Flaming Lips in concert at Jannus and got home to find out the Lightning had won game 2 vs. NJ.
perfect . day. slept til 11am |
