If its windy J-Man you've got a ride.

Praying for yawn patrol

tomstock 07-10-2006 03:00 PM

I can do it if doppler plays nice.

inferno 07-11-2006 06:53 AM

possible problem, low tide at about 8:30 pm, definately not going to be enough water at LP, any other ideas for a night ride???
im good for SW as long as its not solo this time

C. Moore 07-11-2006 07:38 AM

terra verde flats is a possibility. Tom.. What is this place like at low tide?

C. Moore 07-11-2006 08:05 AM

It looks like Tomorrow night looks good too.

Eagle 07-11-2006 09:36 AM

10 Penny (TV) is pretty shallow at low tide, with a SSE the wind pushes more water on the flats, whether you can ride here depends on how low it goes.
The park north of the Pier is a possibility, the water is a bit deeper over there compared to LP.

I am going to hit the SP (shark patrol) at the Skyway.

inferno 07-11-2006 09:49 AM

if your going to the SW, ill be there :D

tomstock 07-11-2006 11:46 AM

Secret spot might be better than the skyway I think at low tide... less likely to loose your board out there, and plenty of beach at low tide.

inferno 07-11-2006 11:52 AM

i think for a night ride i'd perfer the open launch/land area of SW, theres quite a few trees at SS SW...

there should be plenty of water to ride in the cove area, or you can ride out around the sand bar,
we'll have a full moon rising at 9:30

inferno 07-11-2006 02:32 PM

doppler= :(

JoshTaylor 07-11-2006 02:43 PM

No kiting for today!!

inferno 07-11-2006 02:49 PM

its going to pass over, and ill be waiting for it :D

toby wilson 07-11-2006 02:56 PM

If anyone goes out, give me a call, I'm jonesing like everyone else and about a 5-10 minute drive from the SW... :D

JoshTaylor 07-11-2006 03:07 PM

i think that after it passes it will be dead calm. IMO

toby wilson 07-11-2006 03:25 PM

What about after it cools off later this PM though???

9:44 PM Tuesday night. Just returned from the skyway and it's blowing a steady typical 8-10  ... This being my first year of having to brave these miserable few months, I wasn't prepared for the summertime wind blues, this absolutely sucks!

ha i should have bet scott on that one.

Skyway Scott 07-12-2006 07:51 AM

I would have agreed with you J-man.

For the time being, my betting days are on indefinite hold.
The gov't is gonna play mommy/hypocrits and outlaw online poker anyway

Toby, it took me 4 seasons to finally realize "let it go" in the summer. One alternative is fishing. I recommend tarpon fishing. It can kill ALOT of time and when you get one, man, adrenaline rush galore. Or (just kidding here) you could get a job. Just over broke. Jobs kill time pretty well, too :D

You got a good one available good buddy? I'll take it!!! :P :D :P :D
