Race card necklaces given out at the pre-race party
Just a heads up, the cloth Cabrinha necklace race card holders given out at the race are prone to having the card slip out from between the 2 sides of the metal clamp securing them to the necklace and some racers could lose their cards during the race if the necklaces are not securely tucked into their wetuits while riding. I lost my card twice at the pre-race party after my card slid through the opening between the clamp that holds the card in place. Since we need the cards at the finish, make sure you take precautions to make sure you don't lose yours!!!
Jayson, is it an automatic DQ if you don't have your race card at the finish line?
