Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

If you go on a Carnival Lines cruise you should try to take some gear, you may end up at this private island. We flew down for a film shoot of one of their ships, I took some gear and got to ride between takes, the SE wind was side off last Thursday, but I was able to walk to the NW point for cleaner wind. I had the whole bay to myself. The island has several sandy beaches on all sides.

great pics

By the way, those were some nice shots of the beach and et all. I heard the same that there are some really great beaches in the Bahamasa and contrary to what one may hear, some of them are actually not crowded at all.

The vast majority of beaches in the Bahamas aren't crowded at all. In fact you may be the only person on quite a few of them. On the main islands, resorts there can be crowds. On the thousands of sometimes remote beaches in the out islands, you may have to bring your own crowd.
