Let's DEMO some new kites! DP 1-10-07
 

I guess it's time to put this in the lets ride section.

Damien Leroy will be demoing the new Cabrinha Omega kites tomorrow at the skyway so anybody that wants to give the new Kites AND Boards can try them out. Prolly morning is best for wind

I'll be there early for Dawn Patrol, anybody else?

I will be there around 8:30 or so, I hope.
It is definitely blowing right now.

I'll try to make it, gotta get out there early though and will be leaving around 8:30 or 9:00 to get to work on time...

demo update
 

Spoke with Damien last night. We are go for launch. Demo will begin at 8 am Skyway North. Wind isn't like it was yesterday.....WOW...but hopefully it will hold up for at least a few hours.

Hope to see you all there. If anyone wants to know if we are still out there as the day goes on, give us a call before you drive out. Should be there till at least noon if it holds.

A big thank you to Damien and Cabrinha for the demo today. The new Omega will be a great addition to an already awesome line of kites. Increased durability, increased performance, and less money. The cool thing I learned today about this kite is the bar is set up with a pulley system and has a similar feel to the crossbow/contra, but can easily be converted to pulleyless and have the feel of a switchblade 2....less bar pressure with instant response. The conversion takes about 5 minutes.

These kites are expected to arrive around April. We will plan to have another demo day when the full quiver is available. The 15 meter was not available today. :(

Yes, Many thanks to WSW & Damien. The OMEGA definately best of both worlds. Get me on the list for a 15m Omega. Cabrinha rocks Flying or Riding and also relaunching. Can't wait.

15 M not available yet, not even to Damien. At least we got to take a peek at the line months before it's release.

We are ordering mostly 15M and a few 12M as when the line is officially available it will be much closer to the light wind season of summer.

Good to hear that Steve, I didn't get a chance to try the new kites b/c I was limited for time but the Omega's looked great in the air!
