so what are you kids thinking for this weekend? Roy and Linda are getting wind all weekend up in PC, so they won't be gracing us with their presence this weekend. Maybe Roy jinxed himself and we'll get all the wind...?

I have two solid weekends (8am to 8pm) slammed both days with a course, so I don't know (and don't wanna know).
Tomorrow sure looks like a classic SSE switch to SSW EB day, though :)

I doubt it very much. This isn't a cold front, its a sub tropical low that 's firing up in a vortex. The wind direction will be solely dictated by where it is in the GOM in relation to us
