Tom, why not just get the 16M/9M Waroo quiver and keep your 13M C kite for those days in between???

inferno 12-07-2006 01:03 PM

hes better off getting a 16/12 combo and keeping the 7/9 C's for 30 and up, which only happens a few times a year

I would rather have my small kites be the bowkites.......... Ooopps, they already are!

inferno 12-07-2006 01:21 PM

last time i rode with you your smallest bow kite was a 9m, did you get a 7m yet???

personally id rather my most used kites be (expensive) bow kites, hence my 13m (14-30 range)

Personally, I need to find a good deal on a 12M bow kite as cheap as possible for Amber (hence a very forgiving kite good for newbies). Don't care if it's new or used but it needs to be complete...any ideas other than the Waroo? Best pimps on being cheap but they are *pimping* their "cheap" 3M bow...

"Lori's" brand spanking new 7m XBow II arrived today just in time for her birthday! :D  :o

Yep, I'm sure she'll get some good use out of it  on those super windy days

I got my 16m waroo for $400. Pretty darn good deal if you ask me. Thanks again Danny and Bryan for tipping me off. It should be in today.

still.. i am just not as dazzled by handlepasses .. i know that they require tons of technical skill and i understand how amazed i *should* be.. but there is nothing in my mind more awesome than HUGE airs and massive kiteloops..

and, of course.. hello kittys

huge air kiteloops are very simple compared to technical handle passes, norm. kiteloops pretty easy compared to them too. now throw a handle pass in with that kiteloop... thats a little crazy.

so is it easier to throw a kiteloop at the peak of a 10-15ft jump, compared to throwing a powered kiteloop lower in the window (like doing a low altitude F16)????
ive been almost knock unconcious doing powered F16's so it makes me hesitant to throw high kiteloops, should i be?????

ya .. i am NOT at all knocking the new school bag of tricks.. i'm dazzled with the stuff that you and alex are pulling on the water..

im just 100% old style .. huge air.. massive loops..

i am easy to impress.. hahaha..

I think having Billy P. here and getting to see him kite so much made an impression on my from the start.. i really like that he can do all the tech stuff but when he freerides he goes nuts with his jumps and oldschool board offs..
