I rode the Super Phatty the whole time and had a blast. I think I will end up riding that board up to 18-20Knts. It really helped me get through the 10Knt, in the wave, lulls enough to stay till the good wind came.

A bunch of us rode BS late in the day. I went out after work and rode from about 6:00 - 8:00. The current was strong in the same direction, but once I jumped on my light wind board it started getting fun, even in the lulls.

I'm glad I decided against calling in sick yesterday... would've been a waste since wind didn't pick up until late. I'll wait until I'm really sick.

damn. missed it.
had to be at home for some stuff that i couldnt break away from.

tho Dan and I got our sailboat back in the water on Tuesday and had an amazing sail session as the storms were coming in ..

we litterally raced the storm fronts that were converging over the bay into our slip at the St. Pete pier.

good times indeed.

Too bad, missed it. It sucks when you have to work until 8PM every night just to have a half-decent paying job...

I may finally have a job but if any of you know of a decent paying job with some flexible hours closer to St. Petersburg, I sure would appreciate the tip off!!!

Anyway, got the second stage of the tattoo done on Monday evening and it looks pretty darn cool! She added a palm tree blowing in the wind, a kiter doing a handlepass in the distance behind the tree and a sunset over the water with cool colors in the sky in the background. I'll be able to kite as soon as it heals, waiting for stage 3 and 4 of it until after the season so I can ride now, already 9 hours of work done on it though...

Glad to hear you all got to ride and that the sailboat is cruising along for you Bryan!!!
